Cruising toward Juneau

Today is one of two days at sea, traveling past Vancouver Island and up towards the northern range of our journey. Steph and I did separate activities—she’s spending a lot of sea tome in the ship’s thermal spa (wise since it’s quite chilly on the open decks), and she wanted to check out some of the freebies at the sales promotions. I opted for some main atrium events (fruit carving, behind the scenes Q&A, exploring the decks and walking lots of stairs for a little cardio). Our evening is busy with the Choir of Man Broadway style show, and a late night adult comedy show (our second already on this cruise 🎭).

We’re enjoying the observation lounge high on deck 15 with huge picture windows and 180 degree views

The evening show Choir of Men was fantastic, it was originally a London stage show. 10 minutes before it starts they open the stages “bar” giving any audience member free beer. And then the music, dance and revelry begins as they revive classic sing along songs, and engage the audience in their wonderful story telling. Steph and I really enjoyed it.
